How would you describe your photography style?

I try to keep my family photography very natural, capturing the action as it happens, so it's lots of fun mixed with a few poses and prompts I'll guide you through. I feel this will bring out the true character of your children and will also make the session more enjoyable.

What time do the sessions take place?

Best time for photos is golden hour! its 1 hour prior to sunset. I track the sunset time and will let you know the start time the week of you session!

Where does the photo session take place?

Sessions take place at the location of your choosing! You can pick from the locations above or let me know where you have your heart set on!

What happens if it rains?

I'll get in touch a couple of days before the shoot (after consulting the weather forecast) and if it looks like rain, we can reschedule!

Do you take any traditional posed shots?

Yes, I will spend some time taking some relaxed portraits of you together as a family, as this can be an important record for you too. But I spend more time letting the action happen naturally and capturing the moments as they unfold.

Do you photograph in color or black & white?

I do a mixture, choosing what I think works best for each individual photo.

How do I view the photos after the session?

My typical turn around time is 3-4 weeks. You receive an email with a link to your edited images in a private online gallery.

Should we bring anything to the session?

It's great if you can bring along some of your child's favorite toys, games, balls, kites, bubbles – anything that you enjoy doing together as a family. Snacks are also a good idea to boost your child's energy levels.

What if my child won't behave during our session?!

Hey it happens! Family photos can be stressful for mama and hectic for the kiddos! Full sessions are 1 hour long which allows plenty of times for breaks and regrouping. Bringing your kids favorite toys, snacks, stuffed animals, etc. is super helpful in this situation! If you still are having trouble getting your toddler to behave and think you need a reshoot, you may reschedule your session for a $50 fee to any weeknight.

How Long Do you Store Files for?

I try to store files indefinitely, but do not guarantee the storage of images once the final gallery is delivered. I have muliple hard drives and backups. I do ask that when you download your gallery, you back up your files on the off chance something happens to mine.
